Sound Works

From 2015-2020, I devoted much of my time to composing sound pieces from my field recordings.   
The following three works were created from field recordings which were then manipulated using granular synthesis techniques.

Debuted at the SEAMUS 2018 National Conference at the University of Oregon.

 Instructional: PG_01This is a short scripted piece using the human voice and manipulated recordings of electromagnetic noise from various sources (mobile phones, rheostats, anti-theft scanners, traffic lights, decaying pulses from the beginning of the universe, etc.).







DroneworksThese are three extended pieces that were performed solo in a single take using a variety of synthesizers and samplers (Lyra 8, Digitakt, Digitone, OP-1).
