Sound Works

From 2015-2020, I devoted much of my time to exploring and recording sound. Having been steeped in visual media for most of my career, I was intrigued with the possibilities of sound as a direct channel of experience, less encumbered by one’s preconceptions and habits than visual media.

The following two works were created from field recordings which were then manipulated using granular synthesis and a host of effects.
